Program Guide, Picture-in-Picture & My Multiview

Maximize Your Program Guide Experience

The U-verse Program Guide can benefit you in the following ways:

  • It lets you know what’s on TV.
  • You can see a schedule of programming as far out as 14 days.
  • You can browse, view, and record programs from the Program Guide.

Access and use Program Guide

How to access Program Guide:
  • Press the Guide button on your AT&T U-verse Remote Control. Your current show will stay on in the background.
  • Use the remote control arrows to scroll up and down to do the following:
    • Move through the channel selections one at a time. 
    • Browse one page at a time using the Channel page up and down buttons.

How to use Program Guide:
  • Use the left and right arrows to move across the program guide's grid to find the day and time of the shows you want to view. 
  • Use the Fast Forward button to speed up your search.  You can skip ahead twenty-four hours to see what's on tomorrow or the next day. 
  • Press Fast Forward a second or third time to jump ahead an additional 24 or 48 hours.
  • Select the Info button to get more of the following:
    • Details about a highlighted program, including viewing options such as Watch,Record, or See more show times
    • Information about a program or its cast and crew by pressing the Right Arrowbutton.
  • Press the OK button to watch a channel.

Use the Program Guide Time Feature and record from Program Guide

How to use Program Guide Time feature:
  • Jump to Current Time when you have scrolled many hours ahead in the Program Guide and want to quickly get back to the current time.
  • Jump to Prime Time to quickly get you to programs that are airing during prime time to enables you to more efficiently schedule your shows. 
  • Jump to Channel # to move directly to a desired channel.

How to record and exit Program Guide:
  1. Press the Record button on your remote control to record a program.
  2. Press the Record button a second time to record the series.
  3. Press Record a third time to cancel the recording.
  4. Press either the Exit button or the Guide button to exit the program guide and return to the program you were watching.

Note: The remote control showed in the following videos will be the AT&T S-20; however, the same buttons are available on the AT&T S-10 

My Multiview features

My Multiview allows your receiver remote to interact with your TV to enhance your entertainment experience. All U-verse members can choose their favorite channels and watch 4 at once!  

To access: 
  1. Press the MENU button on your remote, then choose MY MULTIVIEW.
  2. Once the application is running, simply press the INFO button to change the favorites, up to 55.
  3. Scroll through the PIPS and press OK to select the channel to view in the large view port or simply press RECORD to watch it later from any U-verse receiver.

NOTE: Picture-in-Picture, or PIP, lets you see multiple channels at once.

SD Multiview channels will set recordings on the SD channel or tune to the SD channel when you exit to live TV. HD Multiview does the same for the HD channels when subscribed to the HD Technology service available with any package for a monthly fee.

Sports Multiview, News Multiview, and Kids Multiview channels are available to U-verse TV members for no additional charge. The channels available to view within the Multiview service are based on the AT&T U-verse TV package subscribed.

Using your AT&T TV remote control, simply select:
  • News Multiview - Ch. 201 SD / 1201 HD
  • Kids Multiview - Ch. 301 SD / 1301 HD
  • Sports Multiview - Ch. 601 SD / 1601 HD
